They came, they saw, and under the hot, Florida sun, they rocked out. Tampa's Big Guava Festival provided concert-goers with two days filled with great music, stellar food, and of course, signature carnival rides. Performers brought the heat, with a chunk of Saturday's top-billed line-up, including The Strokes, Pixies, James Blake, and Zella Day.  Having traveled straight to the event from their sets at Atlanta's Shaky Knees Festival the day before. Yet despite the back-to-back commitments across hundreds of miles, no one showed signs of being worn out and each gave it their all on Big Guava's four stages. From the likes of Andrew McMahon, Jenny Lewis, and Ryan Adams to bands like Dreamers, Empires, and Lydia, the festival had something to offer everyone. And in the end, it did something unique: come up to par with some of the biggest music events across the country. Welcome to festival season!
