Over the weekend the lovely Laura Marling played to a packed house at Philly's Union Transfer. Silencing the room, she brought everyone a collection of some of her best works. Spanning her now five album catalog, she played one of the first songs she ever wrote, 'Failure,' a handful of songs off her newest album, Short Movie, among many other gems.
Budding actor and longtime musician, Johnny Flynn and Marika Hackman opened for Laura. The crowd got a special treat of Johnny Flynn's 'The Water' featuring Laura Marling. That's not the only collaboration that went down. Throughout the night, the three occasionally popped up on stage to share a song or two, ending the night with a cover of Steely Dan's 'Dirty Work'.
