Local Natives made a stop in Louisville, Ky on their current tour and played to a packed house. Performing a mix of older songs, as well as plenty of new ones off of their latest album, Sunlit Youth, they kept the crowd energized throughout their set. Taylor Rice is a charismatic frontman and was very interactive with the audience, going out into the crowd towards the end of the second song. And even though Kelcey Ayer had to change out keyboards early into the set, the guys kept the crowd entertained and were back to playing in no time! They put on a really fun and high-energy performance.
Montreal-based performer Laurel Sprengelmeyer, who goes by the stage name of Little Scream, opened the show with her band. She was joined on stage for much of her set by Richard Reed Parry of Arcade Fire, who produced both of her albums.
