North Carolina alternative rock band Rainbow Kitten Surprise, who are currently on tour across the US, performed recently in Louisville, KY to a packed house. The band has developed a passionate fan base over the years, with fans this evening eager for the band to take the stage. As soon as the opening band finished their set, fans started making their way down to the railing to be as close to the stage as possible. As the band took the stage, the crowd erupted in cheers and were ready to sing and dance the night away! Singer Samuel Melo is a dynamic frontman and danced his way across the stage throughout the set, often joining forces with guitarist Darrick “Bozzy” Keller and bassist Charlie Holt for coordinated dances and serenades. The band had an incredible amount of fun this evening interacting with each other and making sure the crowd was having fun. With gorgeous lighting painting the stage in a variety of colors this evening, it added to the overall ambiance of the set. Singing hits such as “When It Lands”, ““It’s Called: Freefall”, “Holy War”, ““Painkillers” and “Cocaine Jesus”, the band played a nice variety of songs that had the crowd singing along to each one. Ending their set with “Possum Queen” followed by “Run”, they left the crowd in high spirits! New York rock and roll band Night Spins opened the show with a high energy set that got the crowd ready for the night ahead!
