Vans Warped Tour made it's way to Tinley Park, IL recently as the festival makes it's final cross-country trek across the US and Canada. With over 50 bands performing across 7 stages to a sold out crowd, fans were crowded around each stage waiting for their favorite bands to perform. The festival grounds were full of tents that housed band merchandise and various vendors, as well as bars, lemonade stands, charity organizations and an assortment of food trucks. Although it rained off and on the entire day, the rain did not slow down the fans who sang and danced the entire day without concern for getting wet. Many of the festival-goers wore ponchos to stay as dry and possible while many took their chances without one. With bands such as Mayday Parade, Motionless In White, Real Friends and We The Kings, I found my self rushing from one stage to another in the hopes of catching as many bands as possible. Many of the bands were sad to see the cross-country festival come to an end, relaying fond memories of past tours to the crowds of fans who were equally as sad. It will be exciting to see what the future holds for the festival, though! It was a great day of music and was nice to experience a part of the final tour.
We The Kings, The Maine, Issues, This Wild Life, 3OH!3, Bowling For Soup, Real Friends, Movements, Mayday Parade, Tonight Alive, Motionless In White, With Confidence, Doll Skin, Tatiana Demaria, and The Interrupters
